1. Download the MeBeBot package from the Customer Portal:

Visit the IT Admin section of the customer portal: https://portal.mebebot.com/itAdmin

Super Admin or IT Admin role is needed to access this page.


Click the Download MS Team package:


2. Installing or Updating your bot

Installing your bot in Microsoft Teams for the first time:

After downloading the Bot package (the zip file) from the MeBeBot Portal, then:

  1. Open the Teams Admin Portal: https://admin.teams.microsoft.com/
  2. Click on Teams Apps on the left hand navigation menu
  3. Click on Manage Apps
  4. Click on Upload
  5. Navigate to the MeBeBot App package and select it, and then click Open.

Updating to a new version of MeBeBot:

  1. Open the Teams Admin Portal: https://admin.teams.microsoft.com/
  2. Click on Teams Apps on the left hand navigation menu
  3. Click on Manage Apps
  4. Type 'MeBeBot' in the Search Bot on the right hand side of the app grid
  5. Click on Update. (Sample image below) 
  6. Upload the zip package containing the new version.

3. Review Permissions

1. Enter the Teams Admin portal.

2. Review and consent to privileges allowing the bot to talk to the MSGraph API. This is required to use Push Messaging.

3. Press the button labeled "Review permissions and consent". The permissions that need to be granted for Push Messaging and Pulse Surveys to work can be seen in the next screenshot. 


4. Press Accept.


Your MS Teams MeBeBot app is up to date!


Note: If you are re-installing the agent, it may take 2-3 days to propagate and reflect any changes for employees made such as name.
